Angel – Bluetooth® Connections

    I am unable to connect to my Bluetooth® enabled device.

    Verify Bluetooth® is turned on in the Angel.
    Verify that the device you are attempting to connect supports the necessary Bluetooth® profiles (see the Bluetooth® chapter).
    Have you paired your device to the Angel? If not, pair it.
    Power cycle the Angel.
    Power cycle your Bluetooth® device.

    I can't recall my pass code to pair to the Angel.

    The default security pin is 8888 or you can select your own under the Bluetooth® page in the Settings menu. If you have changed the security PIN and cannot remember what you set it to, simply set a new PIN.

    The signal strength indicator on the Angel is not visible.

    Not all phones support the signal strength indicator feature.
    If you have disconnected the Angel's battery or allowed the battery to run completely out then you may need to manually disconnect the Bluetooth® connection and then reconnect so that the Angel can refresh some required settings.

    My phone has connected with the Angel but I only see the 'Music' or 'Phone' icon in the top bar and I need both.

    Some devices will not connect all profiles on the first connection attempt after pairing or will not auto-reconnect all profiles. In either case, manually disconnect the Bluetooth® connection using your phone's controls and then reinitiate the connection.
